Balanced Funds

  They invest in mix of Debt and Equity.
  They are also known as Hybrid Funds.
  Some funds invest in Debt, Equity and Gold.
  They intend to offer 'ready made' asset allocation in these asset classes.
  Monthly Income Plans : They invest about 75% to 85% in Debt and rest in equity.
  Balanced Funds : They invest about 60% in Debt and 40% in equity.
